My Opa took this picture, of my Mother in 1940 in Hannover Germany. It was taken before the war. Not too long after this picture was taken, their house was bombed and all was destroyed including her favorite teddy bear and doll. Today my Mother has a fondness for teddy bears and has passed that tradition on to me. I delight in remaking teddy bears to keep smiles on faces.
